Voting is underway in the Makers Madness contest to name the coolest thing made in Illinois. More than 200 products are competing in the bracket-style competition to make it to the top 16. The contest is the work of the Illinois Manufacturer’s Association and has items ranging from agriculture equipment to life-saving medical products.
Previous contest winners include the Rosenberg Moon Habitat, a 3D printed polymer structure designed to house humans on the moon, and the Rivian all-electric R1T truck made in Normal. To vote, go to makersmadnessil.com through March 17th.
