New Berlin, IL  (WAND) – An Auburn man was injured after crashing into a farm vehicle in New Berlin. The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office was called to a crash in the 7700 block of Waverly Road Monday. Deputies said a 19-year-old driver was going south on Waverly Road at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a tractor pulling a field cultivator.

The teen was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
