Patricia Ann Graves, 76, of Springfield, IL passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 in the company of her family into the arms of Jesus.

Pat was born in Mattoon, IL on August 11, 1947 and was the daughter of Paul and Nancy Mallady.  She grew up in Arcola, IL and moved to Springfield where she met and married Gary Graves. The two were married on August 31, 1968 at Clear Lake Church of Christ in Springfield by Pastor Ray Chrisman.

She worked for the State of Illinois for more than 35 years retiring in 2002. Pat was a member of Westside Christian Church. She enjoyed being a part of the church choir and attending TNT Sunday school. The most important thing in Pat’s life was the love she had for Jesus Christ and her family. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Mallady.

Pat is survived by her husband, Gary Graves; daughters, Dawn (John) Hauer, and Jennifer Graves (significant other, Brian Sissel); grandchildren, Zachary Graves (fiancée, Hannah), Jonathon (Taylor) Hauer, Laura Hauer, Lindsey (Bailey) Swift, and Alexa Joseph; great grandchildren, Kai Graves, Mason and Hudson Hauer; sister Beverly (Dan) Bell; brother, Michael Mallady; as well as several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4:00pm till 6:00pm. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, May 10 at 11:00am.

Pastor Mike Harney will be officiating.
