(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The wait is over. The winners of a $349 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 25 drawing have claimed their prize. The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, told the Illinois Lottery, “We took a chance and bought a single Quick Pick ticket. We’re absolutely ecstatic and feel incredibly blessed.” The winners say they plan to use the money to do good, and it will be the “gift that keeps on giving.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store, located at 70 S. Somonauk Rd. in Cortland. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer received a bonus of $500,000.
