Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Adventure Awaits at the 2025 Illinois State Fair!

That’s the theme for this year’s fair and organizers say it sets the tone for a memorable journey through all that makes the Illinois State Fair the states premier event—livestock competitions, jaw-dropping performances, thrilling carnival rides, delicious food, and nonstop entertainment.

This theme also sets the stage for one of Springfield’s favorite traditions: the Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade, stepping off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7.
