Allen “Al” T. Lucas Jr., known by his friends as Luke, passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 76.
Al was born on July 14, 1948. Al was a lifelong resident of Springfield.
There will be private funeral services and burial. Family will host a Celebration of Life will be held at Casey’s Pub on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL.
