Anita, hoping to unite with her Creator, family, friends, pets, and especially Gabriel, champion of the innocent, died August 8, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital.

Anita Patricia was born February 28, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 East Lawrence Ave., Springfield, IL, with Rev. Daniel G. McGrath officiating.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
