(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Ball-Chatham School District has concluded its investigation into multiple allegations of hazing and bullying within the Glenwood High School Titan Fever show choir program. While the district is not releasing the investigation’s findings, it issued a media release with the following statement:

“As a district, we are committed to adhering to state and federal laws, as well as district policies, which require maintaining confidentiality and protecting student privacy. Therefore, we will not share names, details, or any information related to student discipline.”

Following the investigation, the district has authorized the resumption of practices starting Monday for the Glenwood High School show choir program. The program consists of three groups—Titan Fever, T-Funk, and Titan Flame—which together form a unified team.

The district also addressed its recent decision to withdraw from a competition in West Branch, Iowa. This decision, it said, was not made lightly and was taken to prioritize student safety. It also allowed an opportunity and time for every student to privately share information or concerns. Looking ahead, the district states it plans to review and strengthen its supervision and safety measures.
