(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A car a Christian County deputy was chasing crashed – killing the driver. State police say the sheriff’s department was executing a search warrant at a home in Tower Hill Wednesday morning when officers saw a vehicle believed to be connected to that home. That car sped off, and a deputy soon gave up the chase because of the high speed. The deputy then found the car, crashed off County Road 2600 East in Pana, with the driver ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. State police are handling an internal investigation.
