Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Lake Springfield Christian Assembly (LSCA) invites supporters, friends, and the community to join together in prayer for its annual
Day of Prayer on March 4, 2025. This special day, known as “March Forth in Prayer,” unites believers in lifting up the ministry, its staff, volunteers, and the many lives
touched by LSCA.

Since 1939, LSCA’s vision has been “that people of all ages would make life-changing decisions to be more like Christ.” The annual Day of Prayer is a powerful opportunity to
join together in seeking Christ’s guidance and blessing over the camp’s ministry.

Supporters can participate from anywhere by signing up for a 15-minute prayer segment during the 24-hour period. A specially prepared prayer guide will be available
for download on the LSCA website, offering specific prayer topics to help participants intercede for the camp’s mission, outreach, and spiritual impact.

A Heart for Prayer
“This is the single best way to invest in and support the ministry of LSCA,” said Aaron VanTerry, Assistant Camp Manager of LSCA. “Prayer is at the heart of everything we
do, and we invite the entire community to join us in seeking God’s guidance and blessing.”
Participants are encouraged by the promises of Scripture:
• “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:12)
• “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s
will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
• “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
