Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A death investigation is underway after a woman was found deceased in the 1100 block of North 5th Street Sunday. Springfield police say they were called out to the location around 6 a.m. There were no signs of trauma to the body.

Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
