Decatur, IL (WAND) – A partial train derailment has closed several roads in Decatur on Monday.

A portion of East Faries Parkway was closed near North Brush College Road after six train cars were seen tipping over on a set of tracks.

The cars were hauling soybeans and were on a set of tracks that leads into and out of ADM.

Video captured by a WAND News photojournalist showed one car on its side on the road, and another slightly tipped over. Workers from Norfolk Southern were on site assessing the situation.

Norfolk Southern told WAND News no one was injured in the derailment. Clean up is underway and expected to be done around 5 p.m. Monday.
