(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Two teens are accused of fatally shooting five members of an East St Louis family Sunday.

The children, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody after state police executed what is called a “precision immobilization technique” on their vehicle.

In all, police say seven people were shot at multiple locations in what they described as a “targeted mass shooting.”

The fatality victims are identified as: Cherie May, 49; Devin May, 24; Patricia May, 74; Quentin Thompson, 21; and Shania Thompson, 25.

Police say they will release more information as it becomes available.
