Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – As Moving Pillsbury Forward reaches a five-year milestone in its efforts to remediate and demolish the long-shuttered Pillsbury Plant on East Phillips Avenue, two Facebook pages have been created to document the site and its artwork. Frank Bowen, Team Pillsbury site photographer and photographic coordinator, launched the Facebook pages.

“The site is visually spectacular, and we believe that this is a great way for everyone to view the site safely,” said Moving Pillsbury Forward President Chris Richmond.

Full demolition of the structures is expected to be completed within the next year. “Hollywood could not have scripted a better story about how a community can come together and tackle a massive challenge,” Richmond added.
