SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A Springfield man is in the custody of the FBI.
The Springfield office says Mark Casey, 46, was taken into custody Thursday morning with the help of Springfield Police and others.
Casey is alleged to have threatened to harm federal employees, among others.
He has not yet been formally indicted, and it’s not clear when or where the threats are alleged to have taken place.
Casey is expected to make an appearance in a Springfield federal courtroom, but it’s not clear when.
