Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – In partnership with Evans Recycling, the City of Springfield’s Office of Public Works is making your spring cleanup easier! From April 7 to May 3, 2025, Springfield residents can drop off yard waste bags for free at Evans Recycling, 2100 J. David Jones Parkway.

Simply bring your photo ID—no stickers or extra steps required!

Evans Recycling Drop-Off Hours:

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

And don’t forget—branch drop-off is free year-round!
