(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Bloomington police are searching for a person of interest in the Illinois State University campus shooting Sunday night. One person was shot after a fight in the entryway to the Bone Student Center just before 8 p.m., where a student event was happening.
Bloomington police are searching for a “slender black male, 5’10” with a black afro hair style and wearing all black”. The details of the suspect’s appearance went out Sunday evening via an ISU Emergency Alert. The suspect was last seen running south from University and College Streets.
Photos of the person of interest were released Monday by ISU police.
Police report that the victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
Classes are in session Monday, but all events at the Bone Student Center are cancelled.
