It is with a heavy heart that the family of Janet Lynn Jackson, 71, announces her passing.

Janet passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with stage 4 cancer.

She was born on July 28, 1953, in Quincy, IL.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to American Cancer Society or Animal Protective League (APL) in Springfield, IL.

The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home- Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.

Private graveside services for family and close friends will be held at Roselawn Cemetery.
