Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Joined by her three small children, State Rep. Margaret Croke (D-Chicago) is introducing herself to Illinois as a candidate for comptroller.
Before joining the Illinois General Assembly, Croke was deputy chief of staff at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. And she got the endorsement of the influential Cook County Democratic Party over two other hopefuls.
Three-term incumbent Susana Mendoza is not seeking a new term.
