LINCOLN, IL (WAND)– One man is dead after a single airplane crash near Elkhart, on Saturday.

According to the Logan County Coroner, Roger L. Millheim, 77, of Frankston, Texas was pronounced dead at the scene.

Logan Co. Coroner Donald P. Peasley , NTSB and FAA are investigating.

Millheim was reported to be the only person in the plane.

Responding agencies were Elkhart Fire and Rescue, Lincoln Rural Fire Department, Logan County Paramedics, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Logan County EMA.

At this time no further information has been made available.
