He was born June 6, 1957, in Red Oak, IA.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home Springfield, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield, IL. Visitation will begin with a prayer service.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut Street, Springfield, IL, with Rev. Jeff Grant.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Death with Dignity Political Fund.
