Bates is a handsome three year old who came to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center in December as a stray. Just take a look at that big grin on his face! Bates is a happy and friendly guy who loves his time outside in the fresh air. This boy just wants to play and have a good time. Does Bates sound like the kind of guy for you? Come on out to SCACAC and spend some time with him. Bates is available for foster and adoption.

You can meet all of the adoptable pets during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. Hope to see you soon!
