Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week really needs your help. This nice young dog is not doing well with kennel life and is in need of an adoptive or foster home where he can decompress.

Comet is a handsome two year old German Shepherd mix boy who has been at SCACAC since March. Comet is a good boy who is sweet natured and friendly. He has loads of energy and loves to play with other dogs in the play yard. Does Comet sound like the guy for you? Come on out and meet him!

Comet and all of the other adoptable dogs at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are waiting to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
