Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) -Earl is a handsome guy with freckles and the cutest ears. He’s a little over a year old and he’s been at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since April when he was brought in as a confiscation. He’s a fun-loving guy who loves to play in the play yard and he walks nicely on the leash. When he’s outside enjoying the fresh air, he’s friendly to people and other dogs.
We’re looking for a special adopter for Earl because he’s deaf. Deaf dogs can be taught hand signals and touch signals with great success. Earl is a smart boy who is attentive to his person so he should do great learning hand signs. Training is a great way to bond with your dog.
Earl is a good boy who deserves a loving home. Are you willing to put in the time and effort to train a new best friend? Come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and ask to meet Earl Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-12:45.
