Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is, unfortunately, the longest resident at the shelter. She’s a wonderful girl who keeps getting overlooked by potential adopters.

Fawn is 1-1/2 years old, and she arrived at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center as a stray. She’s an extremely loving girl who is happy to crawl into the lap of her human friends. Fawn is playful and is a good walker on a leash until she sees a squirrel, and then she’s ready to play chase. If you love being active in the outdoors, Fawn may be the perfect companion for you.

You can meet Fawn and all of the other adoptable pets at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
