Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Did you know tortoiseshell cats often portray a bit of an attitude or “tortitude”? Tortie lovers appreciate and are often amused by the sassiness expressed by their kitties. If you are just such a tortoiseshell aficionado, we have a real treat for you!

Franny is a gorgeous tortie kitten, around 5 months old, who arrived at SCAC on July 29 as a very scared baby. Despite her attempts to shrug off all of our love and attention, Franny began a slow melting process with many staff members and volunteers who just wouldn’t take no for an answer from this shy but sweet girl. Franny now has a ton of fans at SCAC who are wishing hard for her to gain her forever home, even though we will miss her airplane ears, stares of indignation, and her soft purrs when she settles down in our arms for snuggles.

Remember – two is always better than one, and Franny would greatly benefit from the company of a kitten of a similar age and energy level. Franny will go home with you spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate to age. She is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).
