Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Maggie is an awesome girl who may get overlooked by potential adopters due to her age. She’s 8 years old and many people are hesitant to adopt an older dog. Just spend a little time with Maggie and you’ll see that she’ll be a great new best friend.

Maggie is an Australian Cattle Dog and she has just the right amount of energy. She’s easy to walk on a leash and she loves to play in the play yard. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and she always has a smile on her face. This good girl will be a great companion for walks in the park and hanging out in the backyard.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are full of great dogs looking for a fresh start in life with a new family. Please come on out to meet them Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-12:45.
