Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Introducing Otis — the Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week.

Otis is a friendly three-year-old boy. He’s a big boy and he’s strong but he walks pretty well on a leash. Otis is also a handsome guy who usually has a big smile on his face. Unfortunately Otis has previously been impounded four times. It’s time this good boy finds a family who will love him and provide a permanent loving home.

Otis is available for fostering, adoption or foster to adopt. Come on out to meet him and a staff member will be happy to explain your options. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
