Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full of beautiful dogs who would love to be home for the new year. It’s not too late! There are a few days left to meet your new best friend to celebrate Happy New Year together.

Pippin is a very pretty two-year-old girl who is waiting to meet a loving family. She’s a medium sized girl who is full of energy. Pippin loves to play in the play yard and walks nicely on a leash. She’s a friendly girl who loves being with her human friends. This nice young girl will make a wonderful companion for walks and snuggles.

Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center will be closed Tuesday December 24th and Wednesday December 25th for the Christmas holiday. You can come in and meet your new best friend Monday December 23rd and Thursday December 26th and Friday December 27th from 10:30-4:15. Saturday hours are 9:00-1:00.

THE ADOPTION FEE ON ALL DOGS HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $25 THRU DECEMBER 31ST!
