Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Meow Mobile cat of the week is a beautiful young calico with an awesome purrsonality. Quartz arrived as a stray on April 30, was not microchipped, and has gone unclaimed. This lovely young lady is about two years old but still playful like a kitten and extremely affectionate. Quartz adores getting time out of her shelter cage for head rubs and play time with wand toys – you don’t even have to move the toy, she will take care of that herself! She has a delightful and nearly nonstop purr motor. We suspect this sweetheart will do fine with a feline friend, as long as introductions are handled appropriately. Quartz has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, so she’s ready to go home with her purrfect forever family. She is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).
