SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sangamon County Animal Control & Adoption Center is very full and asking for the community’s assistance. Please consider adopting or fostering directly from SCAC or from a local rescue like Animal Protective League who regularly pulls from SCAC.

The kitties pictured are just a few of the MANY adorables currently waiting for their forever homes. Everyone goes home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate to age. The county is currently discounting all adoption fees to just $35 each. We highly recommend two! Adopting two provides double the joy for you and provides two fur babies with a lifelong playmate and snuggle buddy, which greatly reduces anxiety and boredom. It is sincerely a win-win-win!!!
