Meet Tina – Our Friends of SCAC Dog of the Week

Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Dog of the Week has the unfortunate distinction of being the longest resident currently living in a kennel at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Tina has been with us since May 18, 2024 when she was brought in as a confiscation. This girl has been waiting almost eight months to meet her new family and have a fresh start in life.

Tina is about two years old. She’s a strong girl who is kind of crazy when she first gets out of her kennel, but can you blame her? Once she gets outside into the fresh air she loves to walk and roll on her back in the grass. We think Tina may do best if she’s the only dog in a home.

Tina and all of the other wonderful adoptable dogs at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center would love to meet you and see if they’re a good fit for your family. Please come out and meet them Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
