Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Sangamon County Coroner is identifying the motorcyclist who was killed when he collided with a pick-up truck on Saturday.

It happened near the intersection of Route 104 and Waverly Road.

56-year-old James Comerford of Virden was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.

The death remains under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Illinois State Police.
