Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Illinois Liquor Control Commission has announced the launch of a new portal as part of efforts to modernize services, enhance regulatory transparency, and to better support Illinois businesses by bringing licensing, renewal, and reporting processes into a single, streamlined digital platform.
ILCC Executive Director Lisa Gardner says the portal is “not just a technology upgrade, it’s a services upgrade”.
It will allow licensees to manage applications, track requirements, and fulfill compliance obligations, saving time while gaining greater clarity and confidence in the process. The portal will also equip ILCC staff with improved tools to support businesses and ensure regulatory responsibilities are met effectively. Licensees are encourage to make sure they are registered for their ILogin account by February 18th.
The portal is currently in a blackout period, but licensees will be able to resume all licensing and compliance activities once the new portal goes live, according to a news release. Full implementation of the portal is scheduled for mid-February, although a date was not mentioned.
The ILCC says it will continue to update the public on the significant milestones during the implementation, along with improvements to its current licensing process.
