Springfield, ILĀ  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The release of body worn camera video in the shooting death of Sonya Massey is being pushed back to later in the day on Monday. Illinois State Police released a statement Saturday that the move is at the request of the Massey family and their legal representative. It will now be released at 2:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 a.m.

A court document released Thursday indicates former Sangamon County deputy Sean Grayson activated his bodycam after firing three times in the direction of Massey. The bodycam of the other deputy, it stated, was activated at the time of arrival on the scene and remained on during the entirety of the events.
