Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Archer Elevator Road will be closed between Greenbriar Drive and Southwoods Road starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Public works will be working on tree removals in the area, and work is expected to be completed within one day.
