Springfield, IL (WAND) — Rooted in Springfield is teaming up with the Central Illinois Food Bank to host this year’s Summer Kids’ Market.

The program is meant to keep kids happy and healthy all summer long. Attendees can enjoy yard games and a “special treat.”

There will be a cooking demonstration as well as a variety of breakfast snacks to take home.

The market will be open from 10-11:30 a.m. every Wednesday starting on July 2 and ending on August 13.

The event is free to attend and open to all ages.
