Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Illinois State Police report six Central Illinois men were arrested after an extensive investigation for alleged internet crimes against children including possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse materials.

Robert W. Retzloff, 45, of Taylorville was arrested Sept. 5 on eight counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class X Felony). Retzloff is being held at the Christian County Jail.

 

 

As a result of five additional child exploitation investigations in Sangamon County, ISP agents arrested five men between Sept. 18 and 19.

Nicholas R. Hackwith, 20, of Springfield – charged with 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony)

 

 

 

Daniel J. McBride, 22, of Springfield– charged with 13 counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class X Felony) and two counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class 1 Felony)

 

 

Cam A. Metzger, 37, of Springfield – charged with 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony)

 

 

 

Stephen K. Peak, 20, of Springfield – charged with three counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class X Felony) and two counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony)

 

 

Giacomo A. Pecoraro III, 23, of Springfield – charged with two counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography (Class X Felony) and 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony)
