Jacksonville, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Illinois College is hosting a free program focusing on the connection between sports betting and mental health.
The event is Thursday, September 25th, at 7pm in Sibert Theatre located inside the McGaw Fine Arts Center.
Saul Malek will be the featured speaker, sharing his personal journey of recovery from gambling addiction and the lessons he has learned along the way.
With online betting and gambling becoming increasingly prevalent nationwide, Malek’s story offers valuable tools to recognizing risks, supporting friends, and safeguarding mental health.
The event is free and open to the public.
