Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Springfield Police are on the lookout for a man who took his frustration out on a slot machine, causing $1,000 in damage. The incident occurred on Feb.19, around 4 a.m. at Qik-N-EZ, located at 430 E North Grand. The suspect, described as a male wearing a black jacket and jeans, was seen playing the machine before delivering a punch to the screen and leaving the premises.

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual. Images of the suspect can be found on their website, cashfortips.us. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on their website, or use the P3 app. Tips leading to an arrest could earn a cash reward of up to $2,500.
