Steven E. Yaris, 61, of Springfield, IL passed away on July 1, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center.

Steve was born on April 19, 1963 and was the son of Richard and Judy Yaris.

He married Amy Yaris who preceded him in death in 2021. Steve was also preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Butch and Judy Butchek.

Steve is survived by his sister-in-law, Connie Leach and his nephew, Robby Leach.

He worked for the Legislative Print Unit at the State of Illinois and enjoyed playing games on his iPad and drinking Bud Light.

Cremation services will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life is being held on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home from 9:00am till the time of the memorial service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Springfield.
