Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – It may not be the $1 billion Powerball winning ticket that was sold in Quincy, but a pretty big lotto jackpot has been won by someone buying a ticket in Springfield.

The Illinois Lottery says, in a news release, the jackpot in Monday midday’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing was won by someone who bought the winning ticket at HyVee Fash and Fresh off MacArthur Boulevard. That jackpot was $550,000. The winning numbers are 2, 7, 10, 33, and 41.

The store gets $5,500 for selling the ticket — or, one percent of the jackpot.

A HyVee Fast and Fresh in Quincy sold the Powerball winner.

But, Lucky Day Lotto has been pretty big in Illinois this year.

So far this year, nearly 7.5 million winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets have been sold, with players statewide claiming more than $43 million in prizes,” said the release.
