Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Expect a hot start to the work week. The temperature will top out in the low 90s Monday and mid-90s Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday expect high temperatures in the low to mid-80s.  Then we’ll return to the 90s on Friday. Isolated showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.
