“You killed the wrong Black woman this time!” – Massey’s father James Wilburn

Former deputy Sean Grayson is currently in custody facing first-degree murder charges.

Officers found a man hiding in the bushes nearby.

A subject fired from inside the residence striking a rescue vehicle occupied by multiple SPD officers.

It will now be released at 2:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 a.m.

Massey’s father James Wilburn, speaking at the funeral, said Grayson had a record full of red flags.

Duran received the money by providing false identity documents and purporting to be an individual with an account at the bank.

Prosecutors said Grayson “aggressively yelled” at Massey to put a pot down, and she then put her hands in the air, said “I’m sorry,” and ducked for cover before being shot.

Grayson will make his first court appearance Thursday.
