The decision comes as federal funding for SNAP-Education was cut, despite data showing the program’s proven impact.
“The safety of our students is always our top priority,” said Superintendent Dr. Becca Lamon.
The kits include books about emotions and mental health, worksheets on breathing and grounding techniques, coloring pages, local support and mental health resources.
