Pastor pushes back against Trump
The Trump administration sued Chicago on Thursday alleging that ‘sanctuary’ laws in the nation’s third-largest city “thwart” federal efforts to enforce immigration laws.
She had owned the Bears since her father’s death on Oct. 31, 1983.
The new law puts an obligation on the Department of Children and Family Services to use a “kin-first approach” when placing children in foster care.
Attorneys general from Washington, D.C., Illinois and New York announced the settlement with the league on Wednesday.
