From Petersburg to the Illinois State Fair to the former Assembly Hall in Champaign, “I don’t think there will ever be another Dolly Parton.”
Parton died peacefully Tuesday in Nashville, Tennessee, her publicist said in a statement.
“We are going to try and break the record for the most Cozy Dogs eaten simultaneously,” said Rebecca Clark, State Fair Manager.
The following measures have been put in place to protect all fairgoers.
Sangamon County Fair returns Wednesday with rides, livestock shows, and family entertainment.
The Chicks will play the next to the last day of the fair.
The fair announced Tuesday that Bailey Zimmerman will be the headlining grandstand act on “Ag Day” at the fair.
“I just fell in love with it — just the story, the provenance behind this car,” Mike said.
The Breakout Country Star is locked in to Play the Illinois State Fair in August of next year.
