Peters joins White Sox teammates Miguel Vargas and Munetaka Murakami on the All-Star roster

“It really started as a vision — a place for kids to come and learn about the game, hopefully fall in love with the game, learn about being a good teammate and how to win graciously and lose graciously,” Sowle said.
“I just want to appreciate to every single player, staff and everybody in this organization to really support me through my rehabilitation process and I’m really glad to be back here with you guys,” Murakami said through an interpreter.
They went 17-18 while Murakami was on the injured list.
The White Sox have the No. 1 pick in the draft for Saturday’s event in Philadelphia as part of All-Star Game weekend festivities.
Taken at No. 69 overall, Roush was the team’s last unsigned player from the 2026 draft.
The right-hander moved onto the Chicago Cubs in 1968 until a 10-game stint with the Chicago White Sox in 1972 to finish his final major league season.
