Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Matt Maton, a Social Studies teacher at Springfield Southeast High School, was named the Springfield Public Schools and Horace Mann “Educator of the Year” Monday, receiving a cash award and an honor from Horace Mann.  On Tuesday, Maton spoke with Will Stevenson on the WTAX Morning Newswatch.
