Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW)  – Abundant Housing Illinois (formerly Urban Environmentalists Illinois) will be at the Capitol Monday advocating for changes including legalizing accessory dwelling units, eliminating minimum parking requirements, and allowing multi-family housing in all residential zones. The group’s Michael McLean joined the WTAX Morning NewsWatch to also talk about the need for more market-rate housing in the state – not just low-cost housing – and how that can lessen scarcity and moderate prices.
